We are pleased to announce that the CONTROLO2020 conference web site is officially online.

This year we are honored to have the name of five persons who have defined research trends in their fields of expertise. Their names are synonymous of scientific excellence and creativity. We are talking about Professors André Preumont, Eduardo Camacho, Karl Johansson, Kevin Passino and Sebastian Dormido, who have kindly accepted our invitation and will certainly inspire us.

IFAC agreed to sponsor the C'2020 conference
We are delighted to announce the news that IFAC has accepted to be technical sponsor of the CONTROLO'2020 conference. Having the IFAC seal associated to this event reinforces its relevance in the automatic control landscape.

Today we had the confirmation of acceptance of the conference proceedings book for publication in "Lecture notes in electrical engineering"

Owing to the large number of requests, and after evaluating the possibility of extending the submissions due date, we are pleased to inform that the submission's deadline to CONTROLO´2020 will be delayed from 1th to 15th of February.

We have been waiting for as long as possible for the positive development of the pandemic condition. However, based on the information currently available, it is not possible to guarantee the ideal conditions for the CONTROLO2020 conference to phisically take place. For this reason, the conference will be held remotely using video conferencing technology. We hope to meet you all online!

In this edition of CONTROLO2020 we are honored to have the MathWorks seal. This company, which does not require presentations, will promote a free, three-hour course on "Deep Reinforcement Learning". Details about the course and how to register will be provided shortly. Stay tuned!
